All individuals over the age of 25 with a valid driver license of at least two years.
Can there be additional drivers?
We encourage you to list all adults over the age of 25 who will be present in the vehicle as additional drivers so that they will be covered by insurance.
Do I need a special license to operate the RV?
As long as you are 25 years or older you just need to have a valid driver license. The vehicles handle very easy.
What is the minimum rental period?
Reservations have a three day (72 hour) price minimum. You are welcome to return the RV earlier if you'd like. Certain holidays, locations and promotions require a longer nightly minimum. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years require a 5 day minimum. Please note, we do not accept reservations that start or end on November 22nd, December 23rd - 25th and December 31st - January 1st.
Where do we meet to pick up the Rv?
Pick up and drop off are located at 4841 Sunrise Drive Martinez California ( unless oterwise agreed on ) please be sure to call us at (925) 329-1216 or (925) 428-8193 when you are on your way to pick up or drop off your vehicle. All pick ups and drop offs need to be scheduled ahead of time.
Do you deliver the RV?
YES we can deliver the RV to your home and we can pick up the RV at your home or another location. Each way cost $350 and needs to be within 30 mile radius of Martinez CA. Deliveries need to be scheduled ahead of time and will depend on where you are located and if we have available drivers during the time of the year. Another option is for you to take UBER to our location. You can easily get UBER from any location in the Bay Area.
Do you work with out of state and international clients?
Absolutely! Our RVs and our service are perfect for anyone from out of state and out of the country (or anyone local who just likes an easy company to work with). Our insurance parters offer insurance and our RVs are fully equipped!
What is the cancellation policy?
Reservation deposit (50% of full trip cost) is non-refundable
If the renter has paid in full and the booking is canceled more than 14 days prior to booking start date, a partial refund of 50% of the full rental amount (minus fees) is issued
If canceled and the renter has only paid the reservation deposit, no refund is issued
If canceled less than 14 days prior to booking start date, no refund is issued
Clients reserving the RV for the Burning Man Festival have two weeks from the reservation creation date to request a cancellation.
What if I want to use the vehicle longer than my reservation dates?
You must contact us as soon as possible to see if we can extend your rental period. If we have a reservation for that specific vehicle we won't be able to extend your trip and late fees will apply if the vehicle is returned late. However, if we are able to extend your reservation, we will gladly do so. If you want to extend the return time by a couple of hours, it's $35 per hour (up to 8 hours). If you want to extend the reservation by a full 24 hour period it's the standard cost of the night. The additional balance must be paid by credit card over the telephone on confirmation of the rental extension.
What if you can't extend my reservation but I come back more than 1 hour after the scheduled return time anyhow?
As of yet we haven't had a problem with clients returning much later than the scheduled return time, but the late policy is as follows; first hour is grace period, second hour is $75, third hour is $200. Clients arriving more than 3 hours late will be charged up to $500. Please stay in contact with us about your arrival time because we often have clients scheduled to pick up the RV right after you.
How do you screen renters?
We do a driving check through the DMV.
Do you refuse service to anyone?
So far all of our customers have been great but we do reserve the right to refuse any rental at our discretion.
What happens if we get into an accident?
Notify us right away so that we may assist you. Take detailed photos of all of the vehicles/property involved and take photos of the other party's insurance information and driver license(s).
What happens if I accidentally damage or break something?
Accidents happen, we understand that. If you break or damage something please let us know as soon as possible so that we may order the replacement part or schedule necessary appointments to have the RV fixed.
What happens if I get a ticket?
The renter is responsible for paying the tickets and any associated fees.
Can we bring our pets?
We love your furry friends and allow them in certain vehicles with an additional cleanig fee. ( Pet rental must be pre-approved, will depend on pet size and type of pet ) The vehicle must be returned free of pet hair and pet odor. Please let us know if you would like to bring a pet upon booking. The additional pet fee is $300 and the deposit is $1,500.
How do I pay for the rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
What kind of gas mileage will we get?
Our vehicles use diesel so they are the most efficient. You will get 17-20 mpg.
What do I need to do prior to returning the RV?
Please fill up the tank with diesel to FULL. Also, please refill the liquid propane and dump the gray and black water tanks. We can dump the tanks for you for $89. If you cannot refuel the RV we can do it for you for $45 fee plus the cost of the diesel and/or liquid propane. If the propane is lower than FULL at the time of return an additional $89 will be charged.
Can I tow my car or boat behind the RV?
Yes, our vehicles can tow up to 3,500 pounds! Please notify us about your intent to tow so that we may properly assist you. ( towing must be pre-approved will depend on what you intend to tow ) We usually need to see what you are towind and the trailer that its on.
Are RVs difficult to operate?
Not at all! At departure you will receive a 30-60 minute familiarization tour and learn how to hook up and operate all the appliances. We want to make sure you feel completely comfortable operating the RV. If you have any questions or forget something while on your trip we are available 24/7 to assist you.
Do you permit smoking in the RV?
Smoking isstrictly prohibited. If the vehicle is returned with a smoke odor a cleaning fee will be charged of up to $500. Please don't smoke in our RVs.
How many miles are included with the reservation?
100 free miles per night. Extra miles cost $0.45 per mile. There are no refunds on unused miles.
Do you charge a cleaning and preparation charge?
Yes, one time $95 -$120 depending on the vehicle you rented.
Do you offer a refund on unused nights?
We stay busy year round and when you make a reservation we take the RV off the market for those dates. For that reason we do not offer a refund.
Can I take the RV into the snow?
All of our units are winterized and ready for the snow. We highly encourage making reservations at campgrounds with electric hookups if the expected temperature will be below 30 Fahrenheit. ( must be pre-approved, please let us know if you are planning on going to sub zero temperatures )
